Trial counsel for lender in $2.5 million real estate dispute with land owner. Obtained total defense verdict after four day jury trial.
Trial counsel in copyright infringement matter. Obtained jury verdict for reasonable royalty sought after four day jury trial.
Prosecuted claims for commercial real estate developer against property seller for breach of a $10 million contract of sale related to encumbrance of property with oil and gas lease. Obtained a judgment for the full amount of damages sought plus attorney fees.
Represented commercial real estate developer and purchaser in indemnification lawsuit against property seller related to breaches of multi-million dollar purchase and sale agreement.
Represented commercial property owner against claims alleging personal injury and premises liability arising out of alleged negligent repairs and/or negligent construction.
Defended oil and gas companies related to claims of, among other things, fraud, breach of contract, and violations of the Texas Natural Resources Code related to plaintiff’s purported purchase of working interests in oil and gas wells across Texas.
Represented oil and gas company in lease termination litigation.
Defended trustee against claims of fraud, breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty made by limited partners arising out of approximately $32 million installment sales agreement.
Represented software company related to claims for breach of contract and tortious interference.
Litigated commercial lease disputes as landlord, tenant, and guarantor.
Litigated disputes between members of LLCs related to claims of fraud, breach of contract, and breach of fiduciary duty.
Represented debtors and guarantors related to suits on notes and guaranties.
Defended and prosecuted claims for misappropriation of trade secrets and violation of non-compete agreements.
Defended real estate investment trust related to allegations of defective construction of student dormitories across the country.
